Rob Snijders was educated in classical percussion and jazz drumming. He developed a career mainly as a rock musician.

He plays drums for Dutch rock group Anneke van Giersbergen & Agua de Annique (led by his wife and former the Gathering singer Anneke van Giersbergen). He’s also touring drummer for legendary Kyuss frontman John Garcia. Rob’s own band is called Secrets of Napoleon. He occasionally works as a guest musician.

His compositions include works for all kinds of ensembles and electronic music.
